Terms of use.

These terms cover the MaxiMouse app, the maximouse.io website and the plans sold on it. MaxiMouse is made by Nomadic Dentists LLC (“we”). By downloading MaxiMouse or buying a plan, you agree to them.

Your plan

• Anyone may download MaxiMouse. It runs once you sign in to an account with a plan.
• Base and Pro cover one computer. Max covers the number of computers shown when you bought it. You can move a seat to another computer from your account.
• A plan is for you, or for the people in your practice on a Max plan. Please do not resell or share it beyond that, and do not try to get around the sign-in or the plan check.
• The app and its contents remain ours. You may not copy, decompile or resell it except where the law allows you to.

Billing and cancelling

• Plans are paid through Stripe, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. They renew until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. To cancel, or to ask about a refund, email support@maximouse.io from the address on your account.
• When a plan ends, MaxiMouse keeps working for 14 more days and then asks you to sign in to a live plan.
• If prices change, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we will email you before it does.

Using MaxiMouse in a clinic

• MaxiMouse is an input device, like a mouse and keyboard. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or keep patient records.
• Hand and voice input can be misread. Check what MaxiMouse clicks, types and dictates before you save it to a patient record, just as you would check typing.
• Use Private mode while patient records are open in a program MaxiMouse does not recognize. The privacy page explains what each mode sends.
• You are responsible for using MaxiMouse in line with your practice's own infection-control and privacy rules.

Smart mode and other services

Smart mode uses TypeSafe AI's Jev service with your own API key. TypeSafe's terms govern that service. MaxiMouse works with programs made by other companies, and we are not responsible for those programs.

No guarantee

We work hard to make MaxiMouse reliable, but we provide it “as is”, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law does not let us exclude. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for MaxiMouse in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date, and email you about any change that affects a plan you pay for.
